In a traditonal Kerala home, South India, Gowri silently carries a loss no one speaks of. Bound by duty and isolation, her world shifts when she meets another woman carrying her own grief. In their brief, wordless connection, Gowri finds a small spark of healing and the courage to break the silence.

Neetha John

Neetha John hails from Kerala, South India; fondly known as “God’s Own Country.” She recently graduated from Vancouver Film School, specializing in DirectIng and Cinematography. Neetha has worked on several short films as both Director and Cinematographer, with a focus on crafting images that tell stories and evoke emotion. She’s passionate about telling bold stories to bring out the depth of characters and to create visuals that make viewers feel something real and impactful. For her, film is a way to connect, inspire, and challenge perceptions. Through her stories, she invites others to see the world not just as it is, but as it can be; full of love, wonder, and infinite possibilities.
