William Yao, Andrew Ha (Choreographer)

William Yao, a Chinese-Canadian filmmaker and creative technologist, explores identity, connection, and transformation through film, AR, immersive theatre, and live performance. A Johns Hopkins graduate in Film & Media and Computer Science, his projects include Daydreamers (Off-Broadway), Gratitude gARden (Cannes XR finalist), and Grimes’ Coachella 2024 show, merging technology and storytelling.
