Suri Parmar is a Toronto-based filmmaker and screenwriter who graduated from the Canadian Film Centre’s Writers’ Lab and the Stonecoast MFA Program. She has participated in numerous international artist residencies including RIFF Talent Lab. In her role as a studio producer and coordinator of branded content, her portfolio includes docu-series and live event activations for New York Fashion Week and Yahoo In The Know. Since 2017, she has taught film production, screenwriting, and popular fiction at a graduate and undergraduate level. Her film work includes award-winning shorts and a feature she co-wrote that have screened at film festivals around the world.
