To bring back his childhood friend Rosa, who had transformed into the flower of the sun, Luka sets out on a journey to find a legendary white bird said to grant any wish.On his way into the mossy forest, Luka encounters Shu, who helps Luka find the path to the great tree where the white bird lies.Meanwhile, servants of the Dark Lord hunt after the two, seeking out the book Luka holds which shows the whereabouts of the white bird…

Tomoyasu Murata

Tomoyasu Murata is a stop-motion animation director from Japan who is best known for works such as “Nostalgia” (2000), “Scarlet Road” (2002), “A Branch of a Pine Is Tied Up” (2017). Inspired by bunraku, traditional Japanese puppet theatre, his works express the beautiful Japanese concept of “mujo”, or “impermanence”.
