One Last Walk

Two lonely, non-english speaking grandmas from two different cultures connect on their daily walks around the neighbourhood. Today is their last walk before one of them flies back home to Korea.

Andrea Bang, Diana Bang

Andrea Bang and Diana Bang are Korean-Canadian actors, writers, directors and sisters based out of Vancouver on the traditional unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Together, they have collaborated on the short films “Karaoke Mamas” (Storyhive), “In Loving Memory” (HGF) and now “One Last Walk” (MAMM). They aim to tell authentic stories with a comedic bent that shed light on people who often feel unseen.

Festival passes

This year, VAFF FESTIVAL, screening programs in person and virtual will be organized into various series in order to better highlight the diverse content in our festival.
